Key Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring effective cost planning and control.
- Drive cost saving initiatives, identify financial risks, and provide strategic input on project budgets.
- Act as the key of contract for senior management, clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and resolution of cost related issues.
- Develop and implement the best practices, SOPs, and efficiency improvements in cost management and procurement.
- Conduct pre-costing analysis for accurate budget estimations, working closely with design and engineering teams.
- Review project financial performance, ensure timely reporting of cost variation, and preparing IPCs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management on cost forecasting, budget adjustment, and project financial health.
Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- 6 to 7 years of experience in the furniture industry as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong expert in cost estimation, contract management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MD Excel, and quantity surveying software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
