Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations across in-house and 3PL-managed warehouses.
• Develop and implement SOPs for effective inventory and warehouse management.
• Coordinate with 3PL service providers to ensure compliance with established SOPs.
• Evaluate 3PL service providers’ performance against SLAs and identify improvement areas.
• Review and negotiate competitive rates for warehouse and transportation services.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and biannual full inventory verifications with the Finance team.
• Implement process and system controls to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze slow-moving inventory, report findings to management, and lead liquidation initiatives.
• Identify and adopt best practices in inventory management to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Evaluate current inventory processes and systems, recommending enhancements as necessary.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with inventory policies and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams like procurement, logistics, and finance to align operations with organizational goals.
• Generate reports on inventory performance, discrepancies, and improvement initiatives for management review.

Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

• Part/ Full qualification in ACA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Professional qualifications in inventory management or supply chain management is a plus.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably managing multiple warehouses and 3PL providers.
• Thorough knowledge of inventory management principles, systems, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
