Quantity Surveyor – Cost Control & Evaluation

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate renovation projects for accuracy in BOQs, quotes, execution, and payments, ensuring alignment with actual work done.
• Assess customer tenders for profitability and validate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers to monitor and manage project budgets.
• Review and validate IPCs and subcontractor payments against project requirements.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify cost discrepancies and recommend savings opportunities.
• Oversee material usage, reconciliations, and stock management at project sites.
• Maintain organized financial records and provide regular project financial reports to management.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/HND in Quantity Surveying.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on cost control and evaluation.
• Proficiency in QS software like AutoCAD, Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with financial and regulatory compliance in construction projects.
