The blending & export of our own special brand of Teas, has roots that reach back to the dawn of the Tea growing industry in Sri Lanka, (then Ceylon) when a young Scotsman, R.L.M Brown, started his own firm Lewis Brown & Co Ltd. in 1882.

Known for his acute business sense, he seized the opportunity to invest in the fast growing, lucrative Tea industry. This same company is today a limited liability company – Lewis Brown & Co. Ltd. & is the holding company of the Delmege Group.

The company also undertakes packing for Private Brands.
