Lewis Brown Air Services (Pvt) Limited, was appointed the General Sales Agent for Lufthansa Cargo in 1993 along with the introduction of a freighter service from Colombo to their hub in Sharjah. At this time the name Lufthansa was practically non-existent in Sri Lanka. With the combined efforts of both Lufthansa and the G.S.A., the airline has reached the forefront of cargo operations in Sri Lanka.

Lewis Brown Air Services (PVT) Ltd, the General Sales Agent in Sri Lanka & Maldives for Lufthansa Cargo commenced uplifting Cargo on Austrian Airlines, from Sri Lanka & the Maldives, effective 01st July 2010.
Lufthansa Cargo and Austrian Airlines Cargo have merged their global activities and Lufthansa Cargo will in future; handle all Austrian Airlines Cargo Capacity Worldwide.
