Lewis Brown Air Services (Pvt) Limited, was appointed the General Sales Agent for Lufthansa Cargo in 1993 along with the introduction of a freighter service from Colombo to their hub in Sharjah. At this time the name Lufthansa was practically non-existent in Sri Lanka. With the combined efforts of both Lufthansa and the G.S.A., the airline has reached the forefront of cargo operations in Sri Lanka.
Lufthansa Cargo - Offers customers, services that meet their changing requirements in the new environment brought about by the globalisation of trade and industry.
Lufthansa German Airlines has also been associated with Lewis Brown Air Services (Pvt) Limited since 1993 and although currently offline, connects passengers from Colombo to their wide international network from points in the Middle East and India, and directly via Germany using their subsidiary, Condor.
Lufthansa is the founding member of the world’s leading air transport network star alliance & serves 841 cities in 157 countries via this network.
