Delmege Forsyth Tours (Pvt) Limited was the first General Sales Agent to be appointed outside the Gulf by Qatar Airways - the national airline of the State of Qatar. A very successful partnership between the GSA and Qatar Airways saw the Airline well established in Sri Lanka. With the rapid increase of flights, in January 2005, Qatar Airways company policy dictated that the Airline become a self-handling operation, which it now is.

Qatar Airways currently covers a route network of 83 destinations. Some of the recent destinations been New York (JFK) and Houston. New freighter destination been Sialkot..

However the GSA for Qatar Airways Cargo continues to remain with the company.
